Because sitting in mom's basement while pulling your pud, is not an acceptable source of income on a loan application. But seriously, why not buy a Raptor?

Do yourself a favor and go gen 1!! Have owned 2 my 2011 had 163k miles of pure abuse (700hp whipple) and never gave me a issue. I literally beat the **** out of that thing and it kept on going then I traded it for a 19 gen 2 loved it for a week or two. Then I tuned it and did exhaust same as you and hated the way the v6 sounded and the multiple gear changes ( 10 gears is too many in my opinion ) I missed it soo much 1 month later I traded it for a 14 and have been happy ever since! Lesson learned but to each there own!
No offense to any gen 2 owners I was one for a short while! Really nice modern truck but to be honest I felt like the ecoboost was the wrong engine for the raptor and the 10 speed was a problem waiting to happen just my opinion. Not trying to say anything bad about gen 2 just my opinion from owning 3 raptors 2 gen 1s and 1 gen 2
