Hi, i just recently signed up for the forum because i have started looking for a FIRST CAR!!. Ever since the Raptor came out i have known everything about it and last year i went to the dealership and actually test drove it!! i know everything there is to know about it and its just a little expensive as of right now.

DOES ANYONE THINK THE RAPTOR WILL BE ABOUT $$25,000 BY MAY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Not to disuade your interest, but it's pretty unlikely the Raptor will drop in price that quickly. My dealer advised me this truck would hold most of its value and there's been some used ones go through the forum at around 40k...
It's worth every penny though!

yea the best one ive found is 34,000 with 30,000 miles on it

I think its going to be a long time till you find a nice used one for 25ish. That 30k mile Raptor for 34 is the best deal I can remember seeing.

yea , im only 15 so i have to wait an extra year to get it , its prolly worth it

oh, it's definitely worth it. however, if i could offer you some "wisdom" at the ripe old age of 25- don't buy your dream car right away. You need a car that you can truly learn how to drive with. You might get in an accident, you might hit stuff, you might get speeding tickets etc. I know I totaled 3 cars, blew a transmission and spent countless hours beating the **** out of a $3000 Jeep Wrangler off road before I decided to buy a nice car. And I haven't even so much as dinged a door in 8 years. I see way too many kids beating the **** out of nice vehicles because they haven't had the chance to get it out of their systems. You need to learn how to respect a car, and learn the hard way what NOT to do before you jump in head first with a super truck like the Raptor.

i wanted a Trans Am when I got my license. My dad said no way...I got a buick. I totaled that Buick in a matter months. Not only did I learn a valuable lesson- it probably saved my life.

Maybe buy a nice used F150 and build a Raptor. With the suspension kits coming out for the Raptor you might find a good deal on some take off stuff thats still in good shape. I know you can find used wheels, tires, bumpers, and skid plates. That might leave you with just some body stuff to buy new. Just a thought.
