I'm up at BAF. Drop me a line if you're ever up this way, chances are that I'll be here haha. Stay safe down there. I did a 6 month tour at KAF with the Air Force in 2010, The one thing that stays with me is smelling the poo pond so bad I could taste it when I first woke up in the morning.

Yeah, tell me about it...my tent is a lovely 400m from the Poo Pond...somedays its not so bad....on others I gag constantly.

I did 6 deployments with the Air Force to Iraq from 03-08.

Yes, now I'm a civilian contractor working for the Army as a counter IED Team Leader.

I've been doing this job since June 2009. I do my job to keep others safe, both local nationals and ISAF personnel.

I love my job and can't imagine doing ANYTHING else.
