I was wondering for the people that have had their raptor Line Xed, my local dealers here offer a regular spray or the extra coating that has uv block in it. Is there really a difference between the two? Does the regular spray in look good and hold up well?

Just looking for some feedback on this. I would like to see the difference between the two but haven't found anywhere to see it so I can make a decision.

Thanks in advance

I had the premium Linex done in my bed, wich has a Bakflip cover so it gets no sun or weather at all. I also had my A.D.D bumpers done with the same top grade Linex. When you compare the bed to the bumpers, you can still see the diamond like sparkle's in the Linex and it still has a nice gloss in the bed. But the bumpers have gone completely dull and flat. The sun beats up the finish bigtime, and my truck is garaged to boot. It is under lifetime warranty, but not worth the time and agrivation to me to have the bumpers removed, sandblasted and done again.

Yes, unless you want to deal with warranty's . It sure does look good in the bed though. If you were going put a cover on the bed I would still get the good stuff.

if i had to do it over again i probably wouldnt get the premium in the bed. it looks great, but the problem is that once you start throwing stuff in there, the uv coating gets scratched and it doesnt look perfect for long. i had my flares done as well, and they still look great, except for the inside part of the flare where it takes a beating and the finish had dulled.

Standard black LINE-X will fade over time. Premium should keep it's color and gloss, it's also a darker black. If your Premium looks dull, wash it with automotive soap and water, it's probably just dirty. Premium is easier to clean than standard LINE-X.

I wasn't looking for a spray-in liner but the new Raptor I found had already been Line-X'd by the dealer. It looks awesome. Much better than a naked bed or some drop in liner. The lifetime warranty doesn't hurt either. Two thumbs up!

Line-X is great

my first bed was Line-X'd brand new and has looked fantastic the entire time I've had it

my new bed was never coated with anything and looks like its been through hell, even though its only been subjected to light use

I would recommend the Premium or Platinum or whatever vs. the basic
