I wanted to add some more lighting to the front of the Raptor while keeping the stock look as much as possible when the lights aren't needed.

The mounts would have to be strong (I hate jittery lights), easy to use (preferably no tools required), and require little to no modification of the Raptor to install.

Here are the lights in the "ready to use" position:

And here is a pic taken with the lights stowed away behind the grill:

Finally, here is a pic showing the mount on one side:

The lights are also easy to remove from the truck completely... just disconnect the weatherpack wiring connectors, slide the lights out of the mounts on the truck, and plug the wiring harness into itself to keep dirt and debris out of the connections.

This is the result of several attempts and ideas to make the concept work... the first few tries failed miserably! :blam: (and I have a pile of scrap to prove it! lol)

But so far, this execution of the concept seems to be working out pretty well...

Great concept and execution Mark! Very creative and effective and not terribly expensive.

I really like the SVTO sign you have hanging from the underside of the front of your Raptor - very cool!

WOW!! That's an awesome idea!! I know there are guys (like you and Dan) that don't want to ruin the look of the truck and this is the ultimate solution. Good job Mark!

I have seen this in person and MarkT has hit another homerun, they look fantastic and get put away when you are done. Perfect for all you Cali boys and girls as it doesn't hide the license plate or require you to place covers on them. Great job Mark!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's awesome. Can you post more details about how you bolted it all up?

Yes... I'm kicking around the idea of making another set for lvdezertdawg and when I do, I'll take some better pics and try to write up some instructions. (I have no issue with anyone that wants to copy the idea for their own personal use.)

In the meantime, if you have any specific questions let me know and I'll try to answer.
