LED License Plate Lights

The only non LED lights on the Gen2 were the license plate lights. Why LED's would be everywhere minus the license plate is beyond me. Either way ~ Cheap and Simple fix.

Picked up some Diode Dynamics HP3 - Cool White - from Apollo Optics and it looks much better

Took roughly 35 seconds to install.

Hey guys, we’ve had a few questions about the different brightness levels of the various options we offer, so I went ahead and grabbed some pictures.

These are the Stock, Cool White SMD2, Cool White HP3, and Cool White HP5 bulbs installed on my 2018 Raptor. The pictures were taken back to back with the same exposure settings to best capture the actual output. Hopefully this will make your decision making a bit easier!

How many lumens did you go with? I just ordered the cool white with 56 lumens, so hopefully I didn't make a mistake and go too bright.

I went with the same ... HP3's are the 56 Lumen product code

They aren't too bright IMO but they sure are a heck of a lot brighter than the standards! You should like them!
