Last KC lights I buy

I live in the northeast and use my truck year round so I realize that the environment is tough, but the anodized finish on the LZR cubes is really not up to what it shoudl be IMO, they were showing finish issues after the first winter, but after two they are pretty much toast. The truck was carefully washed at least once per week and I paid particular attention to keeping these guys clean, but here is the result - I have never seen lights hold up so poorly as this up here... Love the lights, but for a $700 kit, they should stand up to the weather better IMO

I also had the same problem with a different brand, and bumpers that was bubbling up under the powder coating, bumper had 2yr warranty, was 1 week passed it, so I go it stuck up my $$$,.I cleaned and prepped the lights and used PJ-1 specialty black to fix it, and 600.00 to to have the bumpers done, so I definitely understand your frustration.

I live in Ohio. And I have Baja designs and I might have cleaned them once a month if that. They still look like brand new. Get Baja designs.

Hey there sorry to see you had this issue, and you are completely correct in saying they should hold up to a high standard. Elements like this are extremely tough to combat but so doubt this is not what we strive for as a company. I do need to ask if you have reached out to our customer support so that I can follow up with the inquiry and make sure that you are taken care of. If not please open a support ticket by emailing the info and images to [email protected] and CC: [email protected] so that I can watch it and make sure it's handled correctly.

To give some history on this light we went to a 200 hour salt spray coating about 2-3 years ago so hard to say if you have this or not (by the looks likely not). This is not a anodized finish for reference, it's actually more relatable to a powder coat finish. Currently on production that will be shipping next month we have improved the coatings across the LZR line to something that should hold up to these rough elements even better than the current finish so we are excited about this improvement. We are open to admit these things happen, would be nice to be perfect but I can't imagine that honestly exist either. One thing I know is we are willing to stand behind the product and support the investment you made. Based on the title of your post I understand you may not want to move forward with our product, but we still want to make it right and get these taken care of for you.

Again I apologize about the issue and respect which ever route you choose moving forward. Thought I would post and let you know I am here to help if you would like.

Brad I really appreciate you taking the time to post this message. I have not reached out to support as when I read the warranty terms it said that cosmetics were only covered for a year. I was assuming (perhaps wrongly) that this would come into that category as the lights are still working fine.

I will reach out to support as you ask, send them the pictures and cc you.
