Has anyone heard the kicker upgrade for the ford sony stereo? i heard it a local car show and it sounds amazing! I have searched for it and can not find it any where on the net. Its all plug and play, install one amp and replace your sub and everything is ready to go. they said it was around 1200 for the full kit and it sounded just as good as my AM system in my 2003 f150 or better with the factory sony speakers.

No that's not the kit it just replaces your old sub uses the factory box, I guess it's not a amp really he called it something else like a processor, it changes the dynamics of there the sound goes, like what speakers and what type of sound. It's all plug and play no adjusting except for the stuff on the headunit. It really sounded awesome.

Kinda confusing so your saying they (kicker) put in a new sub in the factory box and then do some signal processing to clean it up and change what Hz's go to it?

Yeah if you find what your looking for I'd like to know. But i'm 100% happy with the MTX i put in i know of 3 others that like them too and at $367 bucks can't beat it. About 1 hr to put in or less.

If there is a plug and play replacement for the factory sub on the passenger side, that would be awesome. I have the rear cargo tray mounted under the driver's side and can't lose that cargo I store there. Factory sound ain't bad, but even the upgraded unit sounds lacking when the volume is turned up to MAX.
