That's the thing though. The KHC cradles are all made the same off the same jig. The issue is that Ford has different rear diff housing castings (as reported from KHC). So Measuring KHC's cradle isn't going to tell you anything because none of that data relates to the dimensions of the rear diff housing installed on your truck.

The thing I don't know is what dimensions changed from Ford. It's either the the thickness of the diff housing changed where one is thinner than the other, or the snout is a little bit longer. In the first instance it would push the front of the cradle up some. There's a tab on the underside of the cradle which I got a picture of with a screwdriver pointed at it in this thread. If the snout is longer it's pretty straight forward. In both cases, again, measuring the KHC cradle won't tell you anything.

I'll admit if I'm wrong on this or completely off base here. Someone else please chime in if I'm not making any sense as I'm not trying to spread some false news, but at this point I kinda feel like I'm one-sidedly attacking this...
