Key fob 2013 Raptor

Question: I have a 2013 Tux black and I have got an extra used key (from a 2011 f150) with fob. It looks identical to my raptor key and has the remote start button as well. Is there any way to program the fob part only without inserting the key in the ignition? The manual says to insert it into the ignition and turn the key to on. Being that this one is for another truck it won't turn on. Just want to use it as a fob, I plan on grinding key part off if I can get it programmed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Jack
