I installed a pair of Diode Dynamics SSC2’s in the outer bumper cavities on my Gen 2 and added aftermarket “grill fill covers’ over the holes. Drove at night with and without the covers and couldn’t tell any difference in lighting before or after. The side benefit of stealthy looks and to a smaller extent rock protection was worth it.
