Guys I’ve got about 1500 miles on my ‘19 and to me it seems like the transmission is kind of rough or jumpy at times when shifting up and down. It doesn’t do it all the time. It just isn’t real fluid at times. My wife has a ‘19 Navigator with same motor and it feels different (smoother transition). Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I’m just wondering if it is normal or something I should be concerned about. It honestly doesn’t really bother me. I just want to make sure I don’t need to take it in. The last thing I want to do is deal with the service department about this. Thank you!

My '18 with 8k miles is the same. There is a TSB for mine to reprogram the TCM, or whatever, to fix the issue. TSB 18-2274, someone here posted it when I came in the same question. Applies to models built before May 15 though. Maybe another one for the 19's?

I haven't had the update done yet.

Thanks GCATX!

If anyone else has anymore info on a '19 that would be great!

It takes time to learn your driving style and calibrate. My ZL1 with A10 tranny shifts great so I was super unhappy at 1st but it’s gotten a lot better over time.

Mine was built May 20th so the TSB doesn’t apply to it. I’ve noticed rough shifts in Sport mode and every once in awhile 2-4 shifts seem...odd. Almost like the truck doesn’t know which gear to go into.

Ford technicians at two dealerships say its normal and there is no update available. (Has them peove this to me)

It should smooth out. Its learning your driving style. Mine was jerky and seem to smooth out after 2k miles.

I have driven a 6.2 Tahoe with the 10spd for about 2k miles and that thing is phenomenal. I wonder what Ford got wrong with their 10spd implementation.
