JLT oil separator

This is the best one to use given my research and actual use. The JLT is too small to do a proper job. The unit should be mounted as far away from the heat source as possible to remove as much moisture as possible. I said this earlier--if you are going to the trouble to do this mod understand what is going on

The removal of this byproduct from the system by the catch can is important. Reason the system is the way it is now people have to be active in the maintenance of this and that would be a nightmare being part of the emissions system. USG would never go for it so it is routed back to be re burned water and all..

Mine depends on the weather--a larger can away from the heat source os good because it allows the volume of the larger can to take more moisture out. The one on this thread would be pretty worthless---do the research and don't just buy one because someone here did that did not do the proper due diligence.

Boss - I'd like more details about your catch can. IMO, it appears to be a much better option than the JLT product. I'm on my phone now, so I can't make out your photo very well, but it appears that instead of a removable reservoir that the RX product has a drain tube on the bottom. I assume there's a petcock on this drain? What is the capacity of the reservoir?

My JLT is on the way, had one on my 08 Mustang and worked great. Never had any issues with the size of the JLT.

Just ordered this along with the 1LE Style clean side separator. I sent them a few emails back and forth and they told me together this will give me a complete solution
