I can't wait til they get rid of the old and tired V8 in Mustangs. Why can't they step into the future and put EcoTurd V6s in instead of these boat anchor V8s. I can't believe Randy could get himself to spend money on that old technology in the GT350

Totally different application. The FPC 5.2 is perfect for a high revving environment like a race track. The 3.5 EB is great for the Raptor as it has a lot of low end torque. Perfect for off-road duty but Gen I apparently think it may be better for grocery runs to Target.

Soooo...V8s are good for Mustangs but bad for trucks. Seriously, you're out to lunch

Thats not what I said. A flat plane crank is better for the GT350 than it would ever be for the Raptor. You want low end torque for a truck which is why Ford is choosing the ecoboost. It has both more power, and more torque than the outgoing 6.2. Why is that so hard to understand?

My ideal rpm's offroad are always high and where I think the power band is most effective. What's your preference in a desert high speed type terrain?

I've already explained to you why Ford is choosing the EcoBoost. If there was no regulations on MPGs they would for sure be using a NA V8. Get with it
