I'm pretty sure the oem tubing is made of softer, more flexible rubber/silicone material due to it's ability to cycle continuously.

What sizes are the tubes? I’m now in the Same boat, I’ve got a long drive to Alaska in the winter coming up.
I no longer have 37’s, I just need the hose to connects to the hub, but I bought the whole harness, I just would like to run blue heavy duty tubes like this pic I stole, so if anyone know the tube size that’d be awesome, I have a caliper but I don’t trust the numbers,

I don't actually remember. But I do remember that you have to pay attention to both the inner and the outer diameter of the tubes. The inner diameter because you want it to make a tight seal with the actuator, and the outer diameter because the two tubes have to be all close together.

I tried it myself with tubes from Amazon and cable ties. Didn't work well. Then took it to the mechanic and had them use their own proper tubes, but I still had trouble. Apparently so many owners do and installed the Dorman IWE delete kit just yesterday Seems to work well!

I mean, if you're at the point of replacing the tubes, I would just splurge a little more and get the $100 IWE delete kit. It's worth it in the long run, especially when the entire IWE system is so error-prone.
