Agree re: always running premium and always fill up once I dip below 1/2 tank; for the extra ‘insurance’ in case I get a bad tank.Not concerned in the least about the mileage on this vehicle, but the extra 20 - 50 HP can be felt when running premium fuel.Also, I’ve found stations with high turnover (fresh fuel) has far more difference in the ‘feel’ of how the truck’s running vs overall octane. I do use Shell V-power regularly, but try to get my gas at Buc-ees or one of the other high volume places around here whenever possible.
