WELL, I was getting tired of my projectors shutting off when I turned on the high beams so I decided to install a true Bi-Xenon 3" projector.
What a pain for sure and I totally feel for Dawson when I say this is A LOT OF WORK.
This project from start to finish took me about a week and a half because of a lot of trial and error.
Trying to get 3" projectors to fit in this housing was a task for sure.
Would I do it again....NO!
I would definitely recommend everyone to stick with the 2.5" just because I'm NOT able to adjust my lights anymore.
Once they were adjusted to where I wanted them they were put back together and sealed and there is no more adjusting on these unless I tear them apart again.
The adjusting screws in the back of the lights are basically just for show now.
With the 2.5" projectors a custom bracket is easily doable and it will allow for adjusting if need be down the road.
After it was all said and done I must say they are very impressive. These EVOX-R projectors are very nice quality.
I also just want to say THANK YOU to Dawson( RAPTOR RETROFIT ) for helping me with this project of mine and I couldn't have done it with out him.
Here are a few pics of my build and a small video to show you guys my final product.
Here's a video to show them in action.
