I’ve owned a 2010 raptor for a week and half so this is my 1st post and don’t wanna to get off on the wrong foot but I think OP should be checkin oil pressure. I have 3 modular engines and when I start having valve train noise, variable valve timing issues or unusual timing chain noises 1st thing I do is hook up oil pressure gauge w/10’ hose routed into cab and go for a drive. Get it good and hot and see what it is at idle in drive. Anything less than 25psi I’m changing it out.Just sayin you should know exactly where you stand with oil pressure before rippin covers off. Hope you figure it out.
