Since its been cold, I've had this whistling coming from my dash. It's related to the heat/vents but I can't track it down. My warranty is almost up so I want to take it in but I want to make sure I don't get the "I hear nothing" or "that's normal for the age" response.

Is this a fan bearing going for the heat/blower??

The blower motor has sealed bearings in it, the replacement motor comes complete with a blower wheel if needed. Stick your head under the glove box on the passenger side and see if the noise is more prominent in that area.

Can’t really tell by the video myself, but are the vents open on the back of the console, I know I had noisy vents when they were closed, might not be your issue but easy to eliminate.
Yes, the console vents are open as well as all the dash vents.
(although the console vents happened to me once before)

Was just able to track it down and its definitely coming from under the glove box on the fender side.

There is a filter in there???
lol dont I look foolish. I just assumed that there was, low and behold there is not. I have never owned a vehicle that did not have a cabin filter.....until now haha.

This is the cabin filter in an old Pilot I changed out that DID cause a whistling.
