Insurance question?

Mine went up a bit from my 2004 GMC (not surprising), but not intolerably. Progressive had no idea what it was. I gave them the VIN, their system didn't know what it was. Had to answer year/make/model questions, as well as things like "is it 4wd", "what kind of cab does it have?"

I had precisely the same experience. When the insurer ran the VIN on mine it came back with no data--in fact, the lady on the phone was initially quite sure that Ford was not making the F-150 in 2011 Once I convinced her that no, Ford had no discontinued the best-selling vehicle in the US, we went ahead and entered the info manually. I did tell her it was a Raptor, but she didn't appear to care.

My insurance went down by over $500 per year, so I'm pretty pleased about that.
