Install new Tow Hooks

Put the tow hooks on today. Sharpens up the front end a lot. I suggest taking off the skid plate. A lot easier that way. I used the original dust covers, not a perfect fit but worked.
Those will bend under a real load. Steel is way stronger than aluminum (even 6061). If those were 3" thick, maybe they would have the same strength as the stock steel hooks.

I recently saw a Bronco Raptor with code orange tow hooks and trim rings -- I'm thinking I'm just going to reusemy factory ones and have them powder coated along with the wheel trim rings...

So I bought a set of R tow hooks off ebay to install on my 2024 801. I noticed some guys don't use the shroud after install. Seems to me that shroud is for aero purposes...So I want to put it back on. However, It looks like the one they sent off eBay is a little different than what is on my truck. Make sense given the different design of the hooks. So I will report back what I find when I do the install.

Anyone else walk this road?
