Inserts color

Guys,

i just received the confirmation from the dealer that FORD does not have the red inserts option for 2013. Only blue is available! Does this make any sense as a business decision? If customer is ready to pay, why not change the color from blue to red? Considering red race outside but with blue inserts it will look awfull. All black inside is totally out of consideration. This will be a toy and if the toy does not look right i may just move on...and look for another toy...

Any thoughts from existing owners...not newbies...!!!???

Yes, orange interior accents were for 2010-11, blue interior accents 2012-13.

First...Race Red cannot be purchased with the Blue accents..
Race Red only comes with Black leather.

second..your options are limited if you wish to go with RED...
I would recommend
A.Trade with someone who wants black(once you have the Raptor)
B. Buy the Red accent interior pieces including the front and rear seats on Ebay or a totaled Raptor.

But rember the AC seats only come in 12+...so no OEM AC seats with the Red inserts.

Thank you for the info. This is where the problem is:
- Getting a new toy and then changing the new AC seats with something non-AC and old.
What was so bad from FORD to remove this red color option? Porsche has an unlimitted almost number of color and options...!!!

Well They just changed it. Similar to how you can't get white faced gauges any more. Only 2010 had those. And you don't have to swap seats, just the leather cover. Honestly if it means that much to you, and your used to paying for porsches go to a custom upholstery and get them to make you a custom leather interior. Just because you can't order orange inserts (they were never red to begin with) isn't a good reason not to get this awesome truck.

Ford isn't Porsche and they never will be. Porsche is in a class all by itself. As stated before the inserts were never red and you could only order them in Black or Molton Orange trucks. When the Molton Orange was DC'd the orange inserts went with it. Blue inserts were added for the Blue Flame and Oxford White in 2012. Just the way Ford does it.

You could get the Orange Inserts in ALL colors but Blue. White, Black, Silver and Orange.

I like the blue and ordered on my silver 13 but if u want something to match the race red check with katskinz. I had a set of there covers on my 2007 F350 and they were awsome
