Yes as chris said it was all file system issues that caused the fires and I believe that it was more of the install of the particular parts

Yes, before you purchase make sure you have a very good tuner who is within driving distance of you that can do a dyno tune. You don't want to get the kit just to find out the tuner you chose doesn't know jack shit about the 6.2L motor. The 5.0 in the F150 is almost the same as the 5.0 in the Mustang so tuning is very easy for most guys.

Centri vs Twin Screw is another debate and there are pros and cons to both. First and foremost, definitely make sure the tuner you're using has experience tuning Raptors, not just F150's.

Great info! I am going procharger because of ease of install. I would not have gotten one early on because they had bugs to work out. I've chatted with several procharger owners and had first hand experience helping to install my buddies procharger.

I will probably make a special trip to mike at 5 star tuning.

I think the canned tune will be fine for a short journey to mike, its <375mi for me. I'd have to make 1 stop to retention the belt at around 100 miles. Just to be safe.

Canned tune will be fine if you have the will-power to not go WOT...I know I probably wouldn't haha

Might be advisable to have him send you a tune that limits the RPMs to under 4,000

OH! Almost forgot...make sure Mike's dyno can fit the raptor. My tuner in Baton Rouge can't fit anything wider than a bone stock Raptor. I mean stock wheels and tires, stock. Anything wider wont fit on his (it's not an in-ground dyno). You may have to source stock wheels and tires for the tune.

Good advice, I have methods and toyos. They are 18mm offset vs stock 34mm.

You've got it! It will be on into summer. I'll make a build thread and 100 mile, 500, 1000 and so on service intervals and reports.

I am happy with my Procharger but as others have mentioned the tune is very important to have done on the truck. If you can afford it headers are a good idea but at least do the exhaust first. You don't want to start installing performance stuff after the tune and then have to do it over again.
