I have decided to purchase a ProCharger.

The pro charger sounds awesome. There was a guy at trr from Arkansas that had one. Beat the shit out of the truck and no problems. I have the roush and wish that I went with the pro. It sounds a lot better.

Wow I missed that damn memo... I wish I could have seen it in person! What is his forum name?

Ive had a D1 and a Kb on the same car. I would say roots all the way. The procharger made more power, but the kenne bell was so much more fun to drive and I wasnt always blowing off boost tubes.

Canned tune will be fine if you have the will-power to not go WOT...I know I probably wouldn't haha

Might be advisable to have him send you a tune that limits the RPMs to under 4,000

OH! Almost forgot...make sure Mike's dyno can fit the raptor. My tuner in Baton Rouge can't fit anything wider than a bone stock Raptor. I mean stock wheels and tires, stock. Anything wider wont fit on his (it's not an in-ground dyno). You may have to source stock wheels and tires for the tune.

Stang, who do you use? Im in BR also.

If you were blowing off tubes at the boost levels we are running on these trucks, then something was way wrong. I have a feeling you are talking about a race car and not a Raptor truck, but could be wrong. Running 9 pounds on mine and no problems.

That's what I was thinking also!

He's not a vendor so I'll keep it short - if you want more info feel free to PM me.

I use Cody Cutforth with StangHi Performance. He's tuned all of my vehicles and has always done a phenomenal job of blending daily driveability with increased throttle response and power. Driving around, it's hard to tell it's really tuned (other than throttle response), but at WOT, it runs like an animal and is super safe.

I love my KB as well, and will therefore always be a fan of the twin-screw type. OP, good luck with whatever you decide and keep us posted.

Thank you! The ease of install and HP gains are well worth it. I love the idea also that the procharger doesn't mess with your main engine belt so if it shreds a belt you can make it at least home or to an auto parts store

Nope that one is not accurate. It runs off of your main belt and yes I have shredded some in the dunes and always keep an extra one with me.
