Hey all!
After 5 or 6 years of drooling over all of your Raptors, I can proudly say I'm an owner of a Tuxedo Black 2012 SCrew Raptor. I'm coming from a 2012 Trail Teams FJ Cruiser and can already tell this thing is way more capable. I've been a spectator of this forum for years and have only recently felt the need to join as I'm now in the owners club.
I do have one question though. My trucks front suspension pieces have a thick coating of black on them. I can scrape it off with my finger nail, though. It only appears on the front suspension as the back looks perfectly normal. I can't tell if its just from use over time or if the previous owner had the front suspension coasted to protect it. Any one experience this black grime-like coating from use over the years or do you think its a coating?
Anyways, I'm so glad to finally be here and seeing where this truck takes me. Being in the military, I'm sure I'll go quite a few places with this thing.
