To sit on them, turn them on and experience them in hot, humid NYC is to know how they perform, how good or bad they are. I don’t need to be a Ford tech to know for a fact that the cooling function did not go up the seat back on the Platinum, regardless of whether you say they did or didn’t remove something. Unless you’ve had complaints about seat cooling not working on a 2018 Platinum up the seat back and thus took it apart, or you spend your spare time studying spec sheets for repairs you haven’t performed just in case, sorry.</p><p></p><p>And your statement that forums sow confusion is merely toeing (no, not towing) the manufacturer line and frankly puts the BS to your sticking up for Ford. Knowledge gained on forums has been invaluable to owners and harmful to dealers who cringe when you go into their service dept and actually know what’s wrong with your vehicle because you have evidence from multiple people experiencing the same issue. Is it always accurate? Nothing in life is absolute. But it’s damn informative.</p></blockquote><p></p>
