A little late to the game...Overall, I couldn't be happier with the D2s on the Outlaw hood mounts. They throw a ton of light. Overall, I really don't think the reflect too badly off the hood or at least not so much that it's annoying or hard to see. I have an aftermarket stubby billet antenna that reflects a ton of light back, so at night if I'm running the lights, I just remove the antenna. The lights themselves are so compact, they take up very little room and really aren't that noticeable just driving around. However, if you are looking for a spot light effect, the D2s aren't the way to go IMO. They do light up the road quite a ways in front of the vehicle (I went with the driving pattern), but they aren't spot or pencil beams.The one photo was shot from inside the cab with my D2s and headlights on. The other photo is outside of the truck and just the D2s. Both shot with cell phone so the pic quality is semi lacking.
