You Fab Guys will probably laugh, but I built this with a chop saw, grinder and a Lincoln 180 in a day. I needed something that would keep my gear organized and I still wanted to be able to put my quad in the back. I made it so nothing is wider than the inside of the wheel wells and I took up as much room as I could and still leave the rear tires of my bike on the open tail gate. I also wanted to be able to close the bed cover. I plan on putting in a rail tie down system to strap down 1 spare and 2 AO coolers. The BBQ is in there from the last lake trip and it will also fit. From the driver's side rear going clockwise I have a RotoPax mount that currently has a 3 gallon gas jug but if i go on a Raptor Run their will be the 2, 2 gallon water jugs their. I keep the gas jug in the rear handy for filling the lawn mower. The red Mastercraft tool bag has a few extra shackels, MRE's, disposable ponchos and space blankets, fire starter, things like that. 30' 3" tow strap with shackel Power Tank with a cool little bag I found from Thule. It hold the coiled air hose and it is long enough to fill all my tires with out taking the tank out and the tank is just barely upright enough not to bleed out liquid unless it is just filled. SnapON jumpstarter, it is a little bigger than the Jump n Carry in my wifes car, but it has a on and off switch that keep the leads from being energized in case it does get loose and flies around in the bed. Not in the pic but just in front of the white water jugs my SnapOn 18V impact in a Mastercraft impact bag that hold a set of my stock lug nuts and a battery. 4-3 gallon RotoPax jugs will fit in the location that currently has 2-2 gallon water jugs (white) and one 3 gallon jug. Hard to see in the pic, but the olive drab bag is a GI trauma kit that I add a few extras to. quick clot, surgery kit, snake bite kit, glow sticks and OTC drugs. Under the trauma kit is a place for a BD big CO2 air jack.(on wish list) To save space i do not want a big floor jack. If i do a RR I may put one in. Mastercraft bag has a bunch of larger tools like a pipe wrench, cresent wrench, pry bar ect. Mastercraft bag closest to the tail gate has a impact socket set as well as a small socket set with a few pliers and screwdrivers. Under that is a Halgard fire extinguisher and on the back is a Shure fire LED flash light held on with grip fists. I plan on putting in a survival shovel and tool and adding a snatch strap and after looking at one of the racks that has been posted previously I need some oil and antifreeze storage as well that will go in with the spare tire and coolers. Once I have used the set up I might try to get a professional fabricator to make it out of tubing so I don't look so lame. If I had a pro build it I think I would have the Mastercraft bags mounted at a 45 degree angle to look cooler and keep them a little father away from my tires when I load my quad. Any ideas would be appreciated. [IMG][/IMG]
