The only reason they would need a rebuild is if you were running a lot of real high-speed off-road running. Not just some dirt roads or trail driving, but REAL desert-type off-road where the shocks would get a serious workout. Then it’s like changing the oil in your engine or transmission, the lubricant can become “worn out”. Otherwise pavement princesses needn’t worry. My 2018 is indeed pretty much mostly pavement, but it gets more serious back-roads workout than most anyway. Just over 90k miles, E50 self-tuned since new, zero parts other than oil, filters, and recently brake pads and spark plugs replaced at 85k miles. Service items only except aftermarket stock-location intercooler. Still runs better than new, 0-60 in 3.95sec, 1/4mile in 12.57 @ 109. I don’t think my truck is special, so most people with correct upkeep should expect similar results. In my view, people who have problems with the F150 Raptor are either terribly unfortunate or they’re their own worst problem.</p></blockquote><p></p>
