I too have not done any long-duration high speed runs, but that's only because I haven't had the time yet. I think up grading the bump-stops is a great idea too, but, they should be the last line of defense and not relied on to compensate for too fast for too long. I have a feeling shock-fade is very gradual and will go completely unnoticed until it's too late. What thermometer are you thinking of using?I'm NOT from the "It's Fords Fault" camp, but you have to wonder what the duty cycle was during their fabled "1000 mile durability test." That information could give us a lot of in-sight about where the limit really is. Shock-temp is the only direct feedback I can think of that can tell us what's really going on with the suspension.
