So i took delivery of my new Raptor today and when I did a vehicle inspection I noticed that both headlights had condensation in them. Nothing major, but in the corner of each headlight there was about 6" x 2" of condensation inside the headlamp.
When I brought it to the attention of the salesman, he said to give it a little time and when it gets warmer out, it will go away. We have had rain here all day and the truck has been transported through rain and snow the past week. I didn't say much as I knew that it was probably a crock of sh@#.
Aren't these headlamps sealed? There should be no moisture in these at all right? Anyone else have a problem or heard anything about this problem?
Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks
C

This are not sealed headlights.
It will take some time and a number of heating/cooling cycles to remove accumulated moisture. Especially in colt, moist conditions.
After the lights heat up condensation should disappear, but it is likely to return after cool down.

Thank you for that information. I will give it a little time then, I thought they were sealed. I had a 2010 Platinum and those were sealed so I assumed these were as well.
Thank You!

Just to clarify: the lights are sealed against splash, it is just that the housings have a vent to accommodate pressure changes.
