Holy Mother of BFG KM3’s- I got SHANKED in the Desert!

So I’m on the Trail yesterday, we had a fantastic day with @jzweedyk in some Amazing weather! (Many more tales from the trail coming soon) I go and wash my ride this morning and discovered that I had been SHANKED ON THE TRAIL
Right in the MFing sidewall of course.
This is EXACTLY WHY YOU SHOULD STAY IN THE STARBUCKS DRIVE THROUGH OR SAMS CLUB PKING LOT!! The most you will do there is Rub Off some TireShine on their FNING DUI CHECKPOINT serpentine course of a p o s drive through.
BUT SERIOUSLY: This is EXACTLY why I have always trusted and will not waiver from BFG’s They have ALWAYS gotten me home! (Except for that one time in the Grand Canyon, when I flew off the Trail, maybe carrying a “little”to much speed into a curve. I hit a couple of Cactus, bent my light bar and punched a hole in the right rear BFG. I was able to nurse it home, fix a flat and a $39 air compressor (this was 25 or so years ago, remember what I said about learning from my F U’s) that added 3pounds to the tire in 15min!! )
There may be more manly looking tires or the latest and greatest (go the mannybun for the “Manly” factor )
But my 30 + yrs on the Trail have Always kept me with my BFG’s

Yes on the warranty thank goodness. I’m buying another one and putting on two. Then putting the take off on as a spare and getting rid of the used c- range KO2 that’s the spare now.
It did go all the way in I believe
