Those appear to be HID retrofits for headlight conversion... maybe that's why there isn't a mount. Are you looking to convert your headlights, or are you looking for fog lights that are HID?

Yeah I think you have the wrong part. Those are HID conversions for your headlights I believe.

Do a quick Google search for "HID fog light" and you'll find plenty of on-road use, brand options. Brands like Hella, PIAA, KC and Pilot. I'd look through all those to see if something fits what you want.

But if you're looking to melt people's retinas from 2 states over, I'd look at the site vendors pages first. :peace:

Looking to do a HID Fog light installation.

IRONMAN used a JDM Setup, similar to this:
Projector Fog Lights plus H3 HID Conversion Kit | HID Fog Light Lamps

DEADEYE used a Blazer setup similar to this:
Blazer Fog Light Stage III Kit - Complete Retrofit Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc

1. Opinions on either company/products?
2. I don't see a mount included in the Blazer option. What are my options?

I am actually keeping my eyes open for additional options. My set up works good , but they are mounted as pairs and I would like to have a little more adjustment and mount them independently. This actually won't be to hard as there are tons of brackets available . I just had the ones on hand I used . I am happy as I have an HID fog / driving light set up for about $130.00 a pair.

I used the brackets off these.

THE question to ask and have answered is whether the light or kit or conversion is SAE compliant and street legal. There is no point in having fog lights that you cannot use on the street unless you use your truck exclusively off road. With the plethora of lighing options now available, police are on the lookout to write tickets for non-legal lighting. I keep the panels from the packages from my lights in the truck to prove that they're legal, and I keep the off-road lights covered.

I have done an extensive amount of searching, and near as I can tell there are very few HID and very few LED products on the market that are SAE compliant/street legal. For that matter, there are very few driving lights of ANY description that are currently legal.

The last thing you want to do is pay for expensive lighting, and then pay for it twice with a ticket and have lights you can't use most of the time.

Here's an interesting development. I searched and searched for street legal driving lights, and finally found a set of Street Scene driving lights at Performance 4 Trucks. The order form I printed says driving lights, the invoice that came with the lights says driving lights, and the vender's sticker on the package says driving lights - all with the same part number. But the package itself says Fog Lamp, and doesn't say Street Scene anywhere on it. The lights came with a full set of wires that seem of good quality, but no instructions and no warranty - no paperwork at all, in fact. The package does say ECE Approved/SAE Approved. I won't know whether they are fog lights or driving lights until I power one up, and I will never know whether they are actually a Street Scene product. Once again, let the buyer beware.
