Hello gentlemen!

I'll start by saying I've wanted a raptor since the very first prototype pictures were leaked years ago and recentally I've convinced myself I would have a practical purpose for it so I will be picking up my long awaited fully loaded race red 12' screw this wed!!!!

I do quite a bit of driving, hopefully 20k mi this yr and need to make this thing as liveable as possible so I need some advice on what are the necessary
mods to make it driveable on the street and around town? (don't worry it will still make it to the rough stuff plenty often)

What I'm planning on

-Tint the windows (duh)
-I've found the tailgate easy let down mod and plan on ordering it on monday.
-I need to get some sort of tuner so I can get maximum mpg and i've read about the 5 star tuner?
-What wind deflectors for the windows will work? Just anything for f150? What is the best fitting floormats that will catch everything and keep the carpet underneath perfect? WeatherTech will the regular f150 fit?
What else do I NEED! not looking for off roading or performance parts just yet tho

Thanks guys!

first off.... Gentlemen? you will find none of those around here good sir! :flipthebird: :mwah1:

otherwise for road comfort, nothing really, this beast drives and rides so sweet n smooth on the road! i drove to SW florida and back in my 11, and i hate riding in cars...... i have never had a more easy and comfortable ride in any vehicle before in my life!! also had a freind of my dads, a real tall and lanky older man if about 80 get behind the wheel and he said it was the most comfortable car seat he has ever sat in. so not much you need to do to this badass **** for what you need it for.

onto what i think are must haves. BakFlip and a BedRug for sure! if you like to hear the engine, then an CAI is in order (i have an Airaid, love the sound, makes it mean!), and i havent done a Tune yet... gonna make sure the dealer around me wont screw me out of the warranty for doing one, then ill be getting it.

best thing is, we have our vendors here (too the right), Mike at 5star and Morrie at BAK Factory Outlet, both well known and very well respected around here. cant go wrong!

so Welcome, Congrats and have fun with your Raptor!

Because much of the stitching is white, I had to have it placed toward the rear away from my body oils that would darken the white threads.

The blue threads are closer in color to the middle pic. The other two caught the light at an angle that made the blue appear light blue.

Man, that is nice. I need to see if I can do something like that locally.
