These wheels are purely functional. It’s all about strength and reducing sidewall for off road performance and safety.

You should make it a dually for extra dirt grip and weight balance.

You're on to something. Imagine all of the off road racers that use wheels and tires with lots of sidewall. Hundreds of thousands of racing miles; thousands of years experience.
Good luck.

And flats lose races on a regular basis. Just sayin...

Lots of sidewalls are actually good for flex, it's an added suspension characteristic almost.

By removing the sidewall you're in for a much rougher ride and you're actually more prone to crack a rim.

All in all more sidewall is useful in off-road situations but not on road driving.

No I don’t think so. That doesn’t sound right. You’re probably wrong.

Dude1782,
Yup, all of the Baja, Dakar, Loors, Hammer, Rock buggies, Dune buggies, Iceland glacier tours, Rolligon work trucks, all use tires with large sidewalls because it's wrong...

Since I exploded one of my wheels, I decided I no longer trust any cast wheels. This leaves me with the difficult task of sifting through so many beautiful wheels, so I decided to seek the help of FRF with its impeccable taste. I've narrowed it down to these four choices. I also decided to go with 22"+ so there's less sidewall to get punctured that could lead to exploding another wheel.
