Wife is driving the truck to Palm Springs with friends. She is reporting a bump/misfire when driving up and downhill, during and without acceleration. No check engine light. Trans, oil pressures seem fine. Tells me it feels like engine not bearings, etc but who knows. -High mileage Gen 2 (135k miles) -I just did all spark plugs and coils (Ford parts) 2k miles ago to resolve a somewhat similar issue (misfired only on acceleration and threw codes). I swear I torqued it all down right -Timing chain was done at 100K miles by previous owner (did not do cam phasers unfortunately) -Cam phasers are bad, but not as bad as I've hear other trucks rattle -Just got back from a long Baja trip (multiple tanks of gas) I slightly suspect the gas and maybe a fuel injector or filter issue. She is stopping at an auto zone to put a bottle of seafoam in it. Any other ideas???
