Were you there? Did you see this "puddle"? How deep was it? How did you measure? What speed does "driving through it" equal?

And don't put words in my mouth. I did not (and no one else here has) call him a "liar". I believe he is truthful in the sense that he is telling it as he sees it. However I do not believe how he sees it is how it went down. Not based on the available info.
