Hello all. I just test drove my first Raptor after months of contemplating and convincing the wife to get one.

I test drove a 2012 supercab with 7k miles. It's black with the hood and rear decals and has all options except the moonroof. The asking price is 50k. I offered 48k. What do you guys think would be a reasonable price?

I agree, that does seem high for a SCAB. Tell them you meant 48K out the door, that will knock a few bucks off the price.
But...if 48K is a price you can live with, then good for you- you will now have one of the coolest vehicles out there. One of the best things about a Raptor is it can be used for general driving around and hauling, it's not super specialized like a lifted Jeep.

I had the same feeling after my first test drive. Take a deep breath and compare the one you test drove to the cost of a new 13 or 14. Also, broaden your search area for a used one. You will find better deals out there new and used. If it is True Love at first test drive then go for it!!!

welcome to FRF, I agree with others, 48k is steep for a truck that's nearly 2 years old now
