Hi everyone. I've been poking around here for a few days and figured that it's about time to introduce myself. My name's Keith. I'm from Michigan but have been living in Cabo San Lucas for the last year or so. I don't have a Raptor, yet, but will as soon as I make room in the garage. I think that a silver s-crew will fit nicely. Up until a couple of years ago, my daily driver had been an F150 since '97, I think. My last, an '05, was modified a bit. Look at the pictures, and you'll probably see why I'm interested in the Raptor...

My '05 had more power than a 6.2L Raptor, but the Raptor suspension is worlds better than the King coilovers I had.

My current ride is quite a bit slower, but I had to try the Jeep thing just to see what it was all about... Since Jeeps aren't much fun stock, I modified the hell out of it until it crossed the line from hobby to bad habit. It's still fun to crawl rocks, but I'm ready to go fast again, so if you know anyone looking to buy a nice Jeep, let me know (I've started a thread over in "Want to Sell").

Welcome to the forum. Nice vehicles. I love Jeeps (real Jeeps, well not station-wagons or gimp-mobiles), have had two Wranglers (not very practical though as a two-door).

Thanks for the welcome guys! I haven't gotten out to a race here yet. There aren't as many locally as I expected, and I seem to either learn about those that are close the day after they are run or have something going on. Cabo is nearly as good of a place to live as to visit, expecially in the winter (right now it's 10PM, 70° out, and I can hear the surf, LOL). I agree with you KaiserM715 on the TJ Unlimited. I'd been planning a Jeep build for years, and when I saw pictures and specs come out on the JK's, I immediately started searching dealerships for a leftover TJ Unlimited. It has an ideal wheelbase and just enough interior room for my family and my gear, all without looking like a Hummer wanna-be.

Hey Keith, another MI transplant. I lived in MI for over 45 years. Now in NV. I will be taking a cruise in March and one of the stops is in Cabo... meet you at the docks LOL.. Good luck, and hoping you get your Raptor soon!

Sure SLB8SNK, why not. The docks are only a mile from my house. Although it you just want to walk the flea markets, I'll pass...
