First time Raptor owner. I've been around Ford and SVT my entire life and am very familiar with it all and trust no other. Yes i am one of those brand dependent people however i appreciate all vehicles.
Picked up a 2010 Raptor SCAB, Molten Orange. 96K Miles. Needs very little TLC. I am the second owner and it was taken care of. Exterior, interior and drive-train are all in decent shape. I got a great price and love being in a vehicle i will be able to USE. I have no immediate plans for any mods, however, I have a laundry list of items that I need to fix in order to maintain a great and reliable vehicle. There are a few problems with it but nothing that I cannot figure out. I'm mechanically inclined and have helped build a few engines and worked extensively on my 03 Lightning/98 SVT Contour. I'm no stranger to vehicles and electrical work.
Things that need to be fixed are: rear camera link is down, driver side seat heat element replace, fuse27 fix, and have the FOX rebuilt. There is a problem with the SYNC and voice recognition but i haven't looked to far into that yet. Also, she idles a little rough, not bad, but time for plugs and wires.
I hope to possibly meet a few local Raptor/SVT owners and learn more about this platform. Ill be looking here and SVTperformance for information. Any one local that wants to grab a beer or go to the range im always up for it!
