I was told by a ford engineer that builds these trucks that this option would happen when they got the parts. However nobody believed me. Seems it is indeed true. Can’t wait to get it done honestly, and I likely won’t even use it but oh well.

You can do it yourself, I did it a couple weeks agoYup mine was built in May… I feel this. Has anyone seen anything about options for newer trucks? Maybe a paid retrofit?
It’s in your stickerIs there an easy way to find the build date?
If mine had been missing I would rather add it myself. The less someone else touches my truck the bettter. Chances are they'll end up damaging something in the process.Looks legit. Kinda sucks for those who spent time and money to add it though.
I'd give it a few weeks and see if your dealer can help you out if you don't receive a notification from ford. You have until sometime in 2026 to get this taken care of.I called my Ford dealer (Interstate Ford in Dacono, CO). I gave him the service action reference #13033 and he could not find it in their system.
My truck was built this April 23rd. I'm wanting to know why March 29th is the production cut off date for the wheel retro fit.
Does anyone here know why?
