Sorry if I offended you, but what I said is truth. Interest is the largest killer of wealth. You’re using Democratic logic. Tax and spend-borrow and spend. Look at the whole picture. If you have the 1100 bucks a month for payments then that means that’s a 1100 bucks a month that will not be invested. Calculate that compounded investment gain 1100 a month vs the value of your truck after 72 months of payments. That difference is close to 50-60k.

I don't think a lot of people are financing the entire purchase price of a Raptor. You have to add in trade in's or some people dropping cash deposit. So really you're looking at maybe half or less in financing

I think you're a bit uninformed how the financials work if you think that is Democratic thinking.

The calculation is not removing money from investments to pay for the truck. If you think that, then ask yourself where is the money for the monthly payments coming from? If you have that much available cash flow, you should be investing it. So, that makes the calculation as stated above. Value of invested payments vs value of truck when paid for.

USAA gives 1.99% for 60 months w/auto payment with an approved amount locked for 45 days with a 30 day extension after that. Just applied and now waiting for my 12 Oct 2021. order to come in. Got my VIN and build date of 2/14 for a loaded 37 Atlas Blue package.

Why should you feel inclined to tell anyone what they should do with their money? not everyone is in the same financial Goal as you. No one should drop cash on an 89000 truck. That seems almost stupid.
I wasn't telling anyone what to do with their money. Read the previous posts.
