Hang'in with Nv Guy...

So Nv Guy (Bob) and I got together this last Saturday to go play in the dirt, and what a great time it was. Bob and his wife are great people and were so awesome to lead my friend and I through some trails out there in Reno.

I'm very new to off-roading, especially Raptor type Off-Road , but let me tell you, after this past trip out to Reno, with Bob, I have been bitten and am having serious withdrawals from ripping through the dirt, what an adrenaline high.

Due to my "Being like a kid in a candy store, i failed to snap a lot of pictures, but Bob and I would like to plan a NorCal/Reno get together and get a couple of Raptors out there to have some fun.

(P.S. Look or me at the September R.E. Day in the dirt event so i can learn more about use my Raptor to it's full potential in the dirt...

How much prep are we talking? A couple o' trucks toolin' around in the dirt kind of prep....? Or are we talking Raptor Expedition level of prep... radios, lowrance, etc.?

Mostly tool'in around in the dirt and getting to see each others pretty faces and have a couple beers. It;s going to be a crawl, walk, run kinda thing. BigJ mentioned doing an over nighter and camping out in the desert. I'd like to maybe see a quarterly Reno/Northern Nevada run/get together. I'll have more time (and money) once my wedding is complete in August.

By the looks of things, Northern Nevada/Reno/Carson City has a lot to offer, with ghost town and old mines.

This is going to be fun.
