That is completely incorrect information from that technician/dealership.If you experience any powertrain related issue/failure than can be attributed to the aftermarket calibration, it will not be warrantable.If it is a significant failure, like a melted piston, rod through the block, etc Ford will often dispatch a Field Service Engineer our to inspect the vehicle. At that point they will determine the failure is non-warrantable due to the aftermarket calibration.
