I went to the charity first look show in Chicago this weekend. After some persuasion, I was able to actually get in the truck and mess around for a bit. All great things to say on my end.

While they may not be the production seats, the ones in there were much more like a euro car. tighter firmer fit vs bulgy soft, visually a great improvement. Felt great, but i know i cherish our current seats during our long runs and 12+hr in them... so this is up for debate.

The new upfitter location is great, perfect reach. Plus moving that block and ORM/HIll decent gave great use of the storage area with multiple USBs down there. The new location for driving modes/hill decent is great, and shouldn't be be an issue for tablet and lowrance mounts.

As mentioned in another post, the stripe on the show car seats is orange, allegedly a throw back tot heir first burn orange '10 color.

New 4 leaf springs and opposing direction shocks, looks like theremight be accommodations to put this shock back facing forward, believe aftermarket is already on that too. Also looks like some areas were beefed up

New exhaust looks great in the painted black finish, likley not going to fit a bigger toyo under there though.

Front susp looks similar, no ring grooves in 3.0s, so will likely need an aftermarket block to replace perch mods

Like the added bed strap down options, still have similar eyelets at same location as the G1's too.

Also bed mounts bolts are different, so might need to do new bed racks if planning to carry over gen1 racks. Although there are now 2 bolts in the middle of the bed, so overall think its much better for ppl doing half racks. I had to drill my own hole in center of the bed for mine. so now 2 by cab, 2 middle and believe another 2 by tailgate (did not confirm this tho)

Did you notice if they moved the electrical harness that runs along the drivers side frame up out of the way at all?

Interior is a great improvement imo, i knew that from the promo pics tho. One criteria of the interior access was no drink or camera, so no pics, sorry.

Promo pics captured a lot, though will emphasize seats were might higher quality than i thought, cool embroidery too.

forgot to look for the harness. I was crawling under the truck in my tux though ha

Apple/android play will be an option to push nav from phone to sync3 which is great. The beadlocks do look as bad in person, wish I could have seen the other offering.
