The execution was impeccable.3.5 is 417lbs. 7.3 is 580lbs. So the difference in the engine alone is 163lbs over the nose. The guy used the 10R140 transmission and transfer case from a Super Duty, which accounts for the rest of that weight. That’s completely overkill, but it looks like he got the powertrain as a complete take-out and didn’t have a 10R80 with the correct bolt pattern available to use instead.
