Gibson Exhaust

Has anyone installed the Gibson 3" exhaust? It $615 it is comparatively inexpensive. Gibson is the only MFG I see make a HP claim: +15. I find this a bit dubious adn "salesy"... Torque numbers are far more important.
how does sound level compare to a Borla S dual sys? Any experience out there? I want to upgrade the system but do not want to "ATK" loud.

I had it.

I ripped it off.

It didn’t sound bad at an idle. It was loud when you gassed it, and it droned HORRIBLE.

Like. 47hz.... just wailing in the cab on the highway.

I added just the Gibson muffler to my truck and I think it sounds great.

It was literally cut off the factory muffler and weld the Gibson on. It gave the idle and acceleration a little more grunt, which is exactly what I wanted. I'm not sure if Guy had a full system or what, but I have very little to zero drone cruising down the highway at 60-80mph with radio off.

I had fellow member Crash457 ride in mine with the Gibson and his assessment was the same as mine, adds little more grunt overall without being excessive or droning!
