Noticed that but it's a change in the part number. Seen on tasca and others a few sets of discontinued shocks but another set with slight different ending part number.

Just double check the 35 and 37 shocks. Some sites are wrong on the compatability on the descriptions

The part number for a 35 left rear is ML3Z18125BN. Not sure about 37 shocks.
Do you know if there was any change? Is it ok to mix and match? Because I just had my rear right replaced and the old part number was on the new shock. ML3V18W002.

I’m not sure what the story with part numbers for right rears is. The number to order for that is ML3Z18125BL but you receive a shock with ML3V18W002 on it. The ML3V18 part number doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the internet other than people selling take offs. So I wonder if there is some internal meaning. New dual live valves are RL3V18W002 and that doesn’t seem to exist either. Ford doesn’t really intend us to try and decipher them I’m sure. Seems to me the 18s are shocks that came on a complete truck as opposed to a replacement part maybe, but that’s just a guess. These are the part numbers on my truck right now though. No clunks, squeaks, or anything. My understanding was there was a change of some sort but I have no idea what.

Next time I'm at the dealer I'll have to ask the parts/service guys what they show on their system. At the least their internal system should be up to date

I had my shocks replaced by a dealer not that long ago. Paperwork showed ML3Z18125BL and BN for the rears and the shocks that went on were ML3V18W002 and ML3Z18125BN. So they get the same thing. Not sure if they’ll know why or not.
