Just so everyone knows, I have noticed people talking about the forscan codes for auto mirror fold and auto high beam. In my 23’, they are both standard on there now. Planned on doing forscan just for those but now I don’t need to!
theres a difference between auto folding mirrors and the lincoln folding mirrors. there's a HUGE difference between auto brights and the adaptive lighting you can enable through forscan. dont bother with the mirror mod, but figure out the adaptive lighting asap.

Anybody know what happens when you switch your license to a new computer? Are the module backups still saved in the FORSCAN app? I bought a one year license and am thinking about getting a new laptop as my old one is super slow.

What is the advantage of buying a license? Whenever I need to do something I just request the free trial license. Is there some functionality I am missing, or is it just easier because it is there when you need it?

Not sure about any extra functionality but it was only $12 so I figured what the heck.

I decided to buy one to help them keep developing content and just in case I have to make a change for some reason. I know I can get a free license and I may do so once the year runs out.

Scratching my head on this one. My passenger front fender light is out. Only 1k miles on truck. I was able to access the plug right behind it and with the lights on, there is no power to that one light/plug. The same light on driver side is working fine. Since there is no power to the plug, I’m ruling out the light itself. Is it possible programming with forscan could disable just one light? I only ask as, the only other option I think is a cut or bad wire? It worked fine for first 1k miles

Yes, we’ve seen on here before where ForScan changes have caused strange issues such as that. I would return it to factory configuration and re-evaluate.

Ok, gonna reset the truck just in case any of my FS mods caused one fender light to go out? See my post #486. Two trucks and plenty of FS mods, never had to revert anything. I backed up every single module individually so I would like some advice. Would I be better downloading the complete AsBuilt from ford and restoring everything at once or just go back and restore the 7-8 individual modules I have changed one at a time? Thank in advance

Personally, I would restore your backups. No telling if your truck is in sync with Ford or not. I received an "over the air" update last week so new backups on my Raptor are needed. Only time I would go to Ford's AsBuilt is if my backups were corrupt.
