Has anybody with a post 4/11/22 build tried the glare-free lighting and not had it work due to the “missing hardware” that was mentioned a while back. I saw a recent post from a 10/22 build that did work still. Was one of the forscan options I liked the most but probably going to pass on buying the cables and trying it if it won’t work.

My truck is an 8/2022 build and it worked.

I see the predominate amount of people buying the cable and using Forscan with laptops. Odd question, buy why not with a Bluetooth dongle and Android tablet or phone? With most of the modifications now much simpler and your not editing lines of code I guess maybe I'm missing something. I have an OBDLink MX and Android Tablet I plan to use specifically for this but haven't tried it yet.
I suppose most folks already have laptops and find using the cable as an easy surefire process. Personally, I don’t trust the Bluetooth dongle method while making changes to my truck. However, you may find it the easier method. Give it a whirl and see how it works out.

Some people on the F150 and Forscan forums have done that. I happened to have an older Windows laptop (I've switched everything to Apple) and already had Forscan on it so just use that. Also, The cable is half or less of what the Bluetooth dongles were when I bought it.

I think that the Lite versions don't allow as many changes as the full version, if that's what the Android tablet will run. I'm not sure though. For example, I changed the DRL to full brightness but am getting flickering so the changes LittleFx4 recommended needs a code change rather than the easy way.

Wired connection is more stable. I don't want to know what happens of the bluetooth dongle loses connection in the middle of an update.

I’ve used a wireless adaptor when making changes on three separate trucks and never had an issue with it losing connection.

I have a 2021 with FRS live valve shocks.. i cant reset my ride height calibration because i have a vdm code c1124 that cant be erased either. Basically the 1124 code is because the sensors arent calibrated but I cant calibrate the sensors with the code. Any advice? Because the code I cant change drive modes either.

Maybe @FordTechOne knows any advice?

What is the suffix? C1124:55 or C1124:56?
